Aperto Networks Sees WiMAX Forum as Key Catalyst for Rapid Market Adoption, Affordability of Broadband Wireless Access
San Jose, Calif. Broadband Wireless World Forum Conference, (April 8, 2003) – Aperto Networks, leading provider of new generation scalable broadband wireless access systems and member of the Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access (WiMAX) Forum, has announced its intention to be a prime mover in this newly-rechartered systems interoperability test and certification organization.
Aperto already supports over 60 service providers in 25 countries worldwide, and views WiMAX as the key industry catalyst for rapid adoption and affordability of IEEE 802.16a-compliant broadband wireless systems.
