Aperto Networks Introduces Indoor Self-Install WiMAX Subscriber Equipment
Milpitas, Calif., (October 26, 2005) – Aperto Networks, a leading WiMAX systems provider serving over 200 operators in 65 countries, announced today the availability in the first quarter of 2006 of its indoor, self-install WiMAX broadband wireless products for consumers.
Aperto Network’ intuitive, simple-to-install WiMAX customer premise equipment (CPE) feature the latest advancements in chip, radio, and antenna technologies. The products will facilitate the broadband wireless access to consumers of a wide range of services, such as video, data and voice, including VOIP. It ushers in an era in which consumers will now have the choice of wireless broadband as a viable, affordable alternative to DSL or cable.
