Job Description
Senior-level leadership position to champion and drive overall strategy and
direction of the company's distribution channel strategy. Develop strong relationships
with key management within channel partners to ensure maximum leverage of the
particular partnership.
Work with marketing and sales to develop and drive channel marketing plans,
which will include demand creation programs, channel events, training materials,
sales tools and collateral, and partner extranets. Leverage all internal resources
across functional areas to execute channel programs.
Develop a plan for maximizing revenue opportunities with channel programs. Conduct
necessary data gathering techniques to determine program effectiveness against
program targets and penetration rates. Manage channel aspects of new product
and program launches.
Required
Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate possess an intimate knowledge of distribution and reseller
channels, preferable within the broadband wireless access segment. A minimum
of 8 years in the communications/networking industry and proven track record
of 5+ years of channel marketing experience is required.
A good working knowledge of IP, LAN & WAN networking issues and service
providers' requirements is required. Basic understanding of broadband wireless
access systems is desirable. The individual must be result-oriented, process-minded,
and able to interact well with channel partners and internally. Strong written
and verbal communications skills are required along with proven management and
interpersonal skills. Formal education in Business or Marketing preferred. Technical
background is highly desirable.
