Reza Ahy
- Chairman & CEO
Reza Ahy is CEO and chairman of Aperto Networks. He is responsible
for the overall management and strategic direction of the company.
Prior to founding Aperto, he held executive and senior technical
management positions with Harris Corporation, Varian Research
Center and RadioLAN, with a focus on businesses and products
in broadband wireless and high-speed optical communications
systems. Dr. Ahy earned his BSEE and MSEE from the University
of California, San Diego and his Ph.D.EE from Stanford University.
He is on the board of directors for the Wireless Communications
Association. |

Manish
Gupta - Vice President, Marketing and Alliances
Manish Gupta is vice president
of marketing and alliances at Aperto Networks. He leads all
marketing functions including corporate marketing, marketing
strategy, product management and marketing communications. Mr.
Gupta also drives Aperto's partnerships in the evolving WiMAX
ecosystem. He has over 15 years of leadership experience in
the telecommunications industry including 2.5G/3G infrastructure,
DSL, VoIP, Satellite services, Webcasting, and Interactive Television.
Mr. Gupta has held executive roles in marketing, business development,
and sales with Megisto Systems, Jetstream Communications, Cyberstar,
Apple Computer and National Semiconductor. He has his B.S.E.E.
and M.S.E.E. from Georgia Institute of Technology, and an MBA
from Santa Clara University in California. |

Subir
Varma - Vice President, Engineering
Subir Varma is vice president
of engineering for Aperto Networks. He is responsible for architectural
definition and development of the company's fixed broadband
wireless access systems. Prior to joining the founding team
at Aperto, Dr. Varma was director of systems architecture at
Hybrid Networks where he was responsible for the first widely
deployed MMDS broadband wireless system. He previously held
technical leadership positions at LSI and IBM, and has been
an active contributor to IEEE 802, ATM-Forum and DOCSIS. Dr.
Varma holds 20 U.S. Patents, with several others pending. He
earned his B.Tech in EE from IIT Kanpur and an MS and Ph.D.
EE, from the University of Maryland at College Park. |

Bill Waters
- Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales
Bill Waters is senior vice president
of worldwide sales for Aperto Networks. He is responsible for
direct and indirect channel programs in all target markets worldwide.
Prior to joining Aperto, Mr. Waters was vice president of global
sales at BayPackets, forging successful sales strategies, selling
carrier oriented solutions and building customer momentum. He
also served as general manager and senior vice president of
sales for Terayon's telecom carrier solutions group. Mr. Waters
also held executive positions at Mainsail Networks, Vina Technologies,
Telco Systems, Racal Datacom and DCA/Cohesive. He is a graduate
of the Stanford/ AEA Executive MBA Program, and the U.S. Air
Force Technical School/ College of the Air Force. |

Glenn Tamaru
- Vice President, Operations
Glenn Tamaru is vice president
of operations for Aperto Networks and is responsible for guiding,
directing and coordinating the external manufacturing and global
operations of Aperto Networks. Glenn, who has 25 years of operations
experience with several leading technology companies, including
Ascend/Lucent, Bay Networks/Nortel and Solectron, was most recently
vice president of operations at GoDigital Networks in Fremont,
Calif. He received his BS in Finance and his MBA from California
State University, Hayward. |

Eran Pilovsky
- Chief Financial Officer
Eran Pilovsky is Aperto Network's
Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for the financial
and administrative functions. From 2002 to 2005, Eran was the
VP Finance and CFO of Blue Martini Software, a NASDAQ-listed
enterprise software company. At Blue Martini Software, Eran
was responsible for the worldwide financial, administrative,
and corporate development activities. In 2005 Blue Martini Software
completed a go-private and merger transaction and became a Golden
Gate Capital portfolio company. Prior to Blue Martini Eran served
as CFO of Vyyo Inc., a NASDAQ- listed supplier of broadband
wireless systems where he led the IPO and Secondary offering
in 2000. Prior to that, Eran was a partner with Ernst &
Young LLP's advisory and assurance business service group, where
he spent over 14 years. At E&Y, Eran participated in over
30 public offerings and M&A transactions of technology companies.
Eran is a cum laude graduate of the University of San Francisco,
with a BS in Business Administration and is a Certified Public
Accountant. |

Sue Chan - Vice President,
Human Resources
Sue Chan is vice president of
human resources for Aperto Networks. She is responsible for
administrative management, recruiting, retention, employee communications,
compensation, and benefits programs. Prior to joining Aperto,
Ms. Chan was vice president of human resources at AlphaBlox,
a web based analytical applications software and services company.
She has also served as vice president of human resources at
Veritas Software, and has held HR management positions at Intel,
Amdahl and Watkins-Johnson. Ms. Chan earned a BS in Sociology
from Santa Clara University. |
