Aperto Networks Appoints Senior Vice President
of Worldwide Sales Milpitas, Calif., April 7, 2005 - Aperto Networks, a leading WiMAX-class multiservice wireless access systems provider, today announced the appointment of Bill Waters as its senior vice president of worldwide sales. Mr. Waters brings to Aperto over 23 years of experience in building and leading sales teams and extensive experience in forging successful sales strategies, selling carrier solutions and building customer momentum. "Bill joins us at a tipping point of rapid market and revenue expansion. He is a seasoned sales executive and has held such roles at his prior five private and public companies," said Dr. Reza Ahy, CEO of Aperto Networks. Mr. Waters recently served as vice president of global sales of BayPackets, forging winning sales strategies in carrier solutions and building relationships in the IP services market. Prior to joining BayPackets, he served as general manager and senior vice president of sales for Terayon's telecom carrier solutions group. a graduate of the Stanford/ AEA Executive MBA Program, and the
